Peter Hardy was a talented Australian actor, musician, and theatre performer who was born on 11 January 1957 in Perth, Western Australia. He began his music career as a French horn player in the CCGS Orchestra in 1969 before making his mark on stage in the show “Revue – The Other Opening”.

He continued to showcase his acting skills in various films, TV movies, TV series, and shorts, starting with his film debut in 1986’s The Pursuit of Happiness. One of his notable roles was in the TV series McLeod’s Daughters where he played Phil Rakich for 44 episodes between 2006 and 2009. 

He also appeared in the 2012 TV movie Dangerous Remedy as Robbie McGregor. In recent years, Hardy played and sang in “An Officer And A Gentleman” at the Lyric Theatre in Sydney under the direction of Simon Phillips. 

Unfortunately, Peter Hardy passed away on 16 March 2023, leaving behind a legacy of outstanding performances in the entertainment industry.
